This year, the first water taxi service in Moscow will be launched on the territory of the Southern Port: passengers will be transported on small electric vessels. This was told by the head of the Forma development company Ilya Cheprasov.
“Citizens will be able to use the services of a water taxi to quickly get along the river to the desired point. Negotiations with the taxi operator are at the final stage,” he said.
The area for mooring and servicing small yachts and boats will be located on the waterfront of the Portland quarter under construction by the company. The pontoon pier is designed for four ships, it will be built in the summer.
The completion of the renovation of the Southern Port’s water area is planned by 2030.
