According to the Marmaris Haber newspaper, on August 17, a Russian tourist who went hiking along the Kara trail disappeared in Marmaris (Turkey). Police and rescuers are looking for her.
It is clarified that Natalia S., a 48-year-old Russian citizen, arrived in Marmaris from Moscow on August 11, and on the morning of August 17 went to the Kara trail. The woman did not return from her walk. On August 19, she was supposed to fly to Russia.
The relatives were unable to contact the tourist and asked the hotel and travel agency for help. The hotel staff opened the room, but the woman was not there.
A search and rescue operation is currently underway. Rescuers with dogs are looking for a Russian woman in the mountains on an area of 11 km.
