On the island of Phuket, unknown people raided a popular tourist restaurant of Russian cuisine. We are talking about the Birds establishment in the Bang Tao area. A couple of men on bikes drove up to the closed entrance at about two in the morning and fired a traumatic weapon. Judging by the assurances of the guard, there were a lot of pops, and they stopped only when the attackers managed to break the windows.
It was only the first wave. About half an hour later, another man arrived at the institution and threw a stone at the glass. He left the crime scene on foot.
According to the preliminary version, the riots were staged by people who were dissatisfied with the institution, where crowds of Russian tourists come. However, these were allegedly not local residents – witnesses claim that they managed to recognize foreigners among the attackers.
The owners of the establishment are Russians who moved to the island. Here you could take a break from tom yam and taste pancakes, borscht, okroshka, olivier and dumplings.
