Trend: St. Petersburg secondary buyers are looking for cheaper housing

In 2024, the secondary real estate market in St. Petersburg demonstrated a significant shift in the interests of buyers to affordable housing.

This was announced by Alla Shinkevich, General Director of the Nevsky Prostor real estate agency.

According to her, the increasing demand for inexpensive apartments has become the main trend, which is reflected in numerous requests for the purchase of real estate with minimal costs.

“Most of the requests we have encountered this year have been related to the search for budget options. This indicates a growing need for affordable housing, especially among those who are financially limited,” the expert noted.
