The governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, signed a law on the administrative and territorial transformation of the Telmanovsky rural settlement of the Tosnensky district into an urban settlement.

The need to adopt the bill is due to a significant increase in the population of the village, which has already reached 27 thousand people.

In addition, the construction of multi-storey buildings continues in the village, agricultural and industrial enterprises are developing, the settlement has a powerful potential for development, according to the leaders of the Tosnensky district. They predict that the population growth trend will continue, as will the progressive movement in the development of production potential and infrastructure facilities.
