The reconstruction of heating systems at the kindergarten and school on Vavilov Street will be completed by August 15

The Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, held a working meeting in the Kalininsky district on the eve of the replacement of heating networks on the territory of educational institutions.

New pipes are being laid at kindergarten No. 58 and school No. 137 on Vavilov Street.

“I instructed to complete all planned work on the repair and replacement of heating networks on the territory of educational institutions, including landscaping, by August 15. Thus, we will ensure a stable heat supply to schools and kindergartens during the heating season,” Alexander Beglov said.

Next to the kindergarten and school, specialists of SUE TEK SPb are updating heating networks with a total length of 183 meters. The replacement is carried out as part of the reconstruction of heating networks in block 16A – at the beginning of Nauki Avenue between Vavilov and Akademika Konstantinov streets. Work began in December 2023. In total, more than 3 kilometers of heating networks are being changed here, and the bulk of the work has already been completed. The reconstruction of the school and kindergarten will be completed by August 15, and in the quarter – by October 15.
