In the structure of the secondary residential real estate market, up to 80% of transactions today take place with “live” money and on terms of one hundred percent payment.
This was announced by Evgeny Beskrovny, CEO of LAR Development and the Zapstroy real estate agency.
According to him, most often these are so-called “chains” when a client sells an apartment and immediately acquires another one in order to improve living conditions or for family reasons. Basically, customers are focused on buying a “new secondary”.
“The leaders of demand are real estate, which has not had time to become outdated. These are apartments in new modern houses, commissioned from a year to five to seven years ago. They have good finishes and modern furniture, and high–quality landscaping in the courtyards,” the expert notes.
According to him, all other lots, especially in Soviet-era houses, are less in demand. As a rule, they require additional investments in repairs to create a normal level of comfort. And, in addition, they may not suit the buyer in terms of a homogeneous living environment.
