A real estate agency has put up for sale an apartment in St. Petersburg, where the writer Fyodor Dostoevsky lived. The cost of the facility is 25.5 million rubles, RIA Novosti writes with reference to the agency.

The apartment has four rooms. The total area of the object is more than 100 sq. m, and the living area is 66 sq. m. The Windows of the apartment in the corner house overlook Vladimirsky Prospekt and Grafsky Lane. The ad indicates that the novel “Poor People” was written in this apartment.

The agency informed the publication that the seller has evidence that Dostoevsky really lived here. In addition, on the house where the apartment is for sale, there is a memorial plaque stating that Dostoevsky lived in it in 1842-1845, and “Poor people” were written here. The apartment is located on the second floor of a brick house built in 1839.
