In the coming years, 75 new medical facilities will be put into operation in St. Petersburg.
This was stated by Governor Alexander Beglov on the air of the program “Petersburg: A New Look” on TV channel 78.
He stressed that today polyclinics and general practitioners’ offices are being introduced as planned. The city is increasing the construction of polyclinics where there is a need. In general, the provision of St. Petersburg residents is higher than planned: 27.7 visits per shift with a standard of 26.33.
The governor recalled that 52 new medical facilities have been introduced in St. Petersburg after 2019, and 75 more are planned to be introduced by 2030 – almost one and a half times more than in previous years.
