In St. Petersburg, the terms of sale of secondary housing are being reduced

Experts of the real estate agency “Dear, I’m home” have determined the average time for the sale of secondary housing in St. Petersburg.

According to their data, in March 2024, the average period of sale of secondary housing in the Northern capital was 73.1 days. From January to March this year, this indicator decreased significantly, by 13.9% or 11.8 days.

Over the year – from March 2023 to March 2024 – the average exposure time of a real estate object in St. Petersburg decreased by 16.17% or 14.1 days. So, last spring, an apartment in the city was sold on average for 87.2 days.

“One of the most significant factors affecting the speed of sale is the condition of the facility. Apartments that are ready for sale and in good condition are sold much faster,” said Alexey Lyakin, director of the agency.
