SUE “TEK SPb” has started the reconstruction of heating networks in block 5 of Shuvalovo-Ozerki, bounded by the streets of Composers, Prokofiev, Simonov and Prosveshchenie Avenue.
Outdated networks on the site will be replaced with modern steel pipes in polyurethane foam insulation – such a material allows minimizing heat loss – as well as flexible pipelines. Thermal power engineers will have to lay 1,465.4 meters of pipes with a diameter of 70-400 mm at the facility.
A special stage of the reconstruction will be the replacement of heating networks in kindergartens No. 99 and 139. Flexible pipelines will be laid in special monolithic reinforced concrete channels. It is planned to complete these works before the beginning of the new academic year.
In total, 20 buildings will be provided with reliable heat supply, including 13 residential buildings, 4 kindergartens and 2 schools. Currently, a temporary heating network is being installed in the quarter to provide residents with heat and hot water for the reconstruction period. It is planned to complete the work and landscaping in October 2026.
