One of the all-Russian trends that will determine the development of the construction industry in the near future is the entry of developers into new regions.
This was announced by Olga Trosheva, Director of the St. Petersburg Real Estate Consulting Center.
So, according to her, companies from Krasnodar Territory, Tyumen, Moscow, Kazan are planning to enter the market of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
“Regional developers are interested in million-plus cities, as well as actively developing smaller cities. The trend will be strengthened by measures of state support in terms of preferential family mortgages, which can be approved from the second half of this year, aimed at supporting the purchase of housing in small towns and regions where the volume of construction in this sector is still insufficient,” the expert noted.
At the same time, according to her, in such regions it will be important to correctly assess the capacity of demand with the existing solvency of the population.
