Demand for new comfort and business class buildings remains at a high level

The analytical center of the RBI Group summed up the results of the St. Petersburg primary real estate market of comfort and business class.

The main trend at the beginning of 2024 is a slowdown in demand – the number of transactions in the first quarter of 2024 decreased by 36% compared to the record fourth quarter of 2023. However, demand remains at a consistently high level and, compared to the same period last year, the number of transactions increased by 22% – from 9643 to 11776.

At the same time, prices stabilized in all market segments in the first quarter. Compared to the fourth quarter of last year, the figures remained virtually unchanged.
