JSC “Teploset St.‑St. Petersburg” has started updating the main section of the 1st Main heating main from Starorusskaya Street to the intersection with Novgorodskaya Street.
The site is being used to start up heat supply from the CHP for 346 buildings in the district, including 237 residential buildings, 23 medical and 10 children’s institutions.
As part of the first stage, Teploset is building 189 meters of thermal network with a diameter of 700 mm in polyurethane foam insulation. 363 meters of temporary heating network will be installed for the organization of heat supply to consumers for the period of continuation of the reconstruction of the heating main of the thermal power industry. The first stage is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2024.
The second stage of reconstruction includes the replacement of heating networks along Novgorodskaya Street and Bakunin Avenue to Evgenievskaya Street. The total volume of new construction at the facility will amount to 2,140 meters of pipeline.
The reconstruction is part of a large-scale modernization program for the heating grid complex of the Central district. The reconstruction project is planned to be completed in the first half of 2026.
