Changes in the area of apartments in the market of new buildings in St. Petersburg in recent years have become a noticeable trend reflecting the economic realities and needs of the city’s residents. Experts of the real estate agency “Pride Group” talked about which areas are now the most common in new buildings.
In May 2024, 31.9 thousand square meters are for sale in the primary real estate market of St. Petersburg.
The share of apartment offers in new buildings with an area of up to 25 sq. m. in St. Petersburg now stands at 12.5%. So, at the moment, 4 thousand similar lots are being sold in new buildings.
60% of all apartments for sale in new buildings in St. Petersburg have an area of less than 50 sq. m. So, now 19293 similar objects are for sale in new buildings of the city.
At the same time, the share of family apartments with an area of more than 70 sq. m. in St. Petersburg is 17.7% or 5,642 lots.
