Adler districts: old or new?
Adler’s tourist-friendly areas are located on both sides of the Mzymta River. To the left of it (if viewed from the sea) is Central Adler, to the right is Imereti Bay -Olympic Park.
Central Adler is characterized by dense, chaotic buildings. There are many small guest houses and a private sector. In Old Adler there is a park of culture and recreation, a sanatorium, a central market, shopping centers, restaurants, shops, many cafes and canteens.

The new residential districts of Adler, built for the Olympics, became part of the federal territory of Sirius. It is home to the Olympic Park with palaces, a stadium, museums and a light and music fountain, the Sochi Park amusement park, and the Sirius Educational center. A well-maintained embankment with a length of 6 km starts from the Imereti port and ends on the border with Abkhazia.
Imereti Bay has the cleanest beaches, which come from all over Sochi to swim. The Olympic Park hosts major sports and cultural events, shows and concerts.
What to choose: old or new Adler? I prefer the modern area of the Olympic Park (Sirius), but the old residential part of Adler has its fans. Hotels near the Olympic Park
Two five-star Radisson hotels are located in different parts of Imereti Bay, both beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag award for their clean water and service. Choose any Radisson in Sochi and you will not be mistaken.
- The Radisson Blue Resort & Congress Centre 5* (now MANTERA Resort & Congress) is located opposite the yacht port. High-level meetings are held at this hotel. Shuttle service to the beach every 15 minutes, indoor and outdoor pools with heated water.
- Radisson Collection Paradise Resort and Spa Sochi 5* — beautiful green area, indoor and outdoor pools, white sand on the beach. Guests especially note the service, spa facilities and quality food. This is one of the best hotels in Sochi at the international level.
- Bogatyr 4* Hotel is a fabulous building, stylized as a medieval castle, located on the territory of the Sochi Park amusement park (Sochi Disneyland). The accommodation includes breakfast and a visit to Sochi Park. Children especially like it.
- Sochi Park Hotel 3* (formerly Azimuth) is located across the street from Sochi Park, 800 meters from the sea. Twelve 8-storey buildings, 5 outdoor unheated pools, artificial ponds.
- The Arfa 5* Park Hotel is built along the embankment. Large luxury rooms in the main building and private villas with sea views and a private pool. You can park your car right outside the bungalow.
- The Bridge Resort 4* sanatorium-resort complex is one of the 10 best hotels in Adler, focused on family holidays. The hotel has an animation team, its own beach, outdoor and indoor pools, and you can choose the type of food. The Bridge Resort is located near the border with Abkhazia, near the city bus stop.
The Velvet Seasons Hotel City
The 5-storey buildings built for the Olympics have been transformed into a large hotel complex Velvety Seasons 3* with 4,688 rooms. On its protected territory there is a swimming pool, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, beauty salons, sports and playgrounds, rental, parking. The beach of the Velvet Seasons has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Two former quarters of the Velvet Seasons Group of Companies: Alexander Garden and Chistye Prudy were transferred to Sirius.
Sirius Hotels
The Sirius hotel chain includes 3 hotels (Alpha, Omega, Delta) and 2 large-capacity hotel complexes (Sigma and Gamma). Sirius is focused on holidays in the format of “smart tourism” for children and adults. There is a private equipped beach.
- Gamma Sirius 3* (formerly Chistye Prudy). The buildings are located 150-300 meters from the beach, the rooms overlook the Black Sea and the Ornithological Park.
- Omega Sirius 3* (former “Tulip Inn Omega Sochi”). On foot to the Olympic Park and the fountain show, a shuttle takes you to the sea. Balconies with panoramic views.
- Delta Sirius 3* is located next to the Imereti Resort railway station, spacious rooms, modern design, panoramic views of the Olympic venues and Sochi Park.
- Sigma Sirius 3* (formerly Alexander Garden) is located next to the Olympic Park and amusement park, 800 meters from the beach. 1363 rooms of various layouts, lake view.
Alpha Sirius Hotel Complex
The Alfa Sirius 4* Hotel complex (formerly Imereti Resort) is located on the other side of the Olympic Park near the yacht port. It includes the four-star Alpha Sirius hotel and 4 blocks of apartment hotels: Marine, Coastal, Park, Reserve, rooms are serviced in the same way as in the hotel, each has a kitchenette. We lived in an apartment in the Seaside Quarter with a sea view.
- Grace Outline 4* will appeal to those who don’t like big hotels. It is a 2-minute walk from the sea and 5 minutes from the Olympic Park. Accommodation with breakfast or half board, bicycle rental, restaurant, free parking.
Hotels in the center of Adler
- Flamingo 3* is located on the first line, Chaika beach. Heated swimming pool with sea view. Shared kitchen, bar, free parking. The room rate includes a sauna.
- The Citrus 4* Hotel took 1st place on TripAdvisor as the best hotel in Russia. Mountain river and sea views, outdoor veranda and heated pool, soundproofed rooms, playground.
- The Forward 4* Apart-hotel is located next to the central market, 10-15 minutes from the sea. Views of the cypress alley and the mountains. Heated rooftop pool, fitness room, nice restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms have a kitchenette and a coffee machine.
- AC Hotel is a 4* family hotel near the sea. Large rooms with a balcony and comfortable beds, buffet breakfasts. Spa complex with Finnish sauna, cafe in the courtyard. They provide bathrobes and beach towels.
- El Paraiso 4* is located across the street from the promenade and Chaika Beach. Large rooms, delicious breakfasts with champagne. Outdoor swimming pool with mountain and sea views, sauna and gym, bicycles for rent, free parking.
- Yuzhnoye Vzmorye 3* sanatorium has a closed territory-a 11.5-hectare park and a private beach, 5 bedroom buildings and 5 cottages with sea views. Treatment: baths, massage, mud, SPA treatments.
