Where to watch the parade

The Victory Day Parade in Moscow is allowed only by invitation cards, but you can see columns of military equipment not only at the moment of their movement on Red Square.

A playroom “The Future Doctor” is provided for children and a screening of the cartoon “The Adventure of Petya and the Wolf” is planned.
• Pavilion M — excursions about Russia’s natural resources, technological innovations, energy and space.
• Pavilion K is a gastronomic space where you can taste dishes from different regions of our country.
• Pavilion F — 5D is a cinema, an attraction showing the work of shift workers producing gas in the difficult conditions of the Far North.

Orion Amusement Park It opened at VDNKH about a year ago. In the retrofuturism-styled space there are several pavilions for children and adults: “House of Fears”, “Fairy Tale Theater”, “Kinopanorama”, as well as attractions with the largest Ferris wheel and outdoor playgrounds. There is an opportunity to have a snack by buying food at food trucks.

Concerts in the greenhouse (Pavilion 14) take place mainly in the evening. Professional musicians perform music from famous movies and cartoons.

Parking Gallery is an underground art space. During the May holidays, there is an exhibition of paintings and antique objects from the personal collection of the painter Ivan Glazunov.

Ice Cave with a temperature of minus four to minus nine degrees, it plunges into the atmosphere of the polar station. Blankets are distributed to frozen visitors, and those who did not have enough winter fairy tales are given free ice cream at the exit.

The Zaryadye Gastronomic Center presents dishes from the regions of Russia, but the menu also has European cuisine and quick snack options.

On May holidays in Moscow, you can see the film adaptation of two domestic films based on the works of Russian writers at once: “The Master and Margarita” (based on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov) and “Onegin” (based on the novel in verse by Alexander Pushkin).

Theatre

The play “Mad Money”, which was directed by Andrei Mironov in the 1980s, was successfully revived at the Satire Theater. The Comedy Theater will show the play “Grooms by announcement” on May. A funny and touching story of two friends, in which one helps the other to establish a personal life. The production can be seen at different venues.

• “Muscovite. Women of the Soviet capital of the 1920s-1930s”: tells about the residents of the capital and their professions at the beginning of the last century. The exhibition features paintings, Soviet posters, murals and sculptures.
• “The dragon, the griffin and the maiden bird.” The exhibition is dedicated to fantastic characters: dragons, griffins, unicorns and naiads, which can be seen on the facades of the capital’s buildings and mosaic panels.
• “Tin art packaging”. The exhibition presents metal boxes and jars with decorative decoration, in which sweets were sold in the late XIX — early XX century.

The staff of the Moscow Museum also conducts city tours. With guides, you can visit the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ivan Nikolaev Commune House, the Nosov Mansion and the former Krasny Oktyabr factory.
