Two students from India went hiking to a popular tourist attraction in Scotland and were found in a river with no signs of life. This is reported by the website of the NDTV channel.
Jitendranath Karuturi, 26, and Chanhakya Bolisetti, 22, went for a walk in Lynn of Tummel, a forest area located at the confluence of the Garry and Tummel Rivers near the town of Pitlochry. On Wednesday evening, April 17, rescuers pulled their bodies out of the water.

According to the source, the Consulate General of India contacted the families of both students who studied at the University of Dundee in Scotland.
“This is a tragic accident that has shocked us all. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the students. We are supporting them at this extremely difficult time,” the representative of the educational institution assured.
A day earlier, an Indian tourist was found without signs of life near the Thai resort of Pattaya. A blue and white scarf, two mobile phones and several rupees were found with him.
