The holiday season in Turkey
The Turkish state is geographically divided into two parts. A large area with resorts is spread out in South-West Asia, only 3% of the land lies on the territory of Europe. Another feature of the geographical location is that the country is washed by four seas at once: the Black, Marmara, Mediterranean and Aegean.
Depending on the area of the country, the climate varies from Mediterranean to subtropical Mediterranean. Their general characteristic is hot and dry summers and rainy winters with plus temperatures. In summer, the thermometer rises to 35-37 degrees, and in winter it rarely falls below 5. The sea reaches 26-29 degrees in hot weather.
The holiday season in Turkey starts from mid–April – early May and ends with the arrival of November.
