The Dutch low-cost airline Transavia will start operating direct scheduled flights between Amsterdam and Tbilisi. The first flight between the capitals of the Netherlands and Georgia is scheduled to take place on April 20, 2024. This is very good news for Russians who want to visit the Netherlands, as there are more and more flights to Tbilisi from our country, and the discounter usually offers good prices: the main thing is to carefully read the fare conditions and comply with baggage and hand luggage restrictions.
Flights will be operated 2 times a week. On Wednesdays, the plane will depart from Amsterdam at 13:50 local time and land in Tbilisi at 20:35. The airliner will depart from Georgia at 21:35 and arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 00:45 a.m. the next day. On Saturdays, departure from the Netherlands is scheduled for 14:05, arrival in Tbilisi at 20:50. The return flight will start at 21:50 and end in Amsterdam at 01:00 at night.
Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the airline’s own website and from agents. The cost of a one-way trip starts at about 10,000 rubles. Recall that Georgian Airways also flies on the same route, but the prices of the Georgian national carrier are much higher.
