In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), an “orange” alert level has been declared in connection with the rains that have hit the country. Information about this is provided by the Khaleej Times.
It is also reported that since the beginning of the weekend, torrential rains have been falling in different parts of the UAE, accompanied by powerful thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind. Because of this, all mass events in the country have been canceled and popular recreation areas have been closed.
Due to the dangerous weather conditions, the UAE authorities have declared an “orange” alert level for all Emirates and recommended that local residents and tourists stay at home.
Earlier, the Russians named the safest, from their point of view, countries for women’s tourism. Belarus became the leader of the list of the safest countries to travel with friends, for which 45 percent of the surveyed travelers voted. It was ahead of the UAE and European countries — these areas accounted for 24 percent of the responses.
