The heads of the Georgian parliament have declared a red security level due to the actions of protesters who are still trying to break into the building of the state agency.
“Based on the attacks on the Georgian Parliament Palace, which poses a danger to the life and health of people in the Parliament Palace, a red security level has been declared in the Parliament Palace,” the statement said.
The red security level began to operate on May 1 from 23:00 (22:00 Moscow time). From now on, all persons must leave the parliament building, except those who are allowed to stay by the head of the staff, REN TV writes.
Earlier, SP wrote that the Georgian parliament adopted the draft law on foreign agents in the second reading by a majority vote. The plenary session was held against the background of mass protests.
