The pilot of the Russian airline accidentally spilled tea on the instrument panel on the plane. This is what the Aviatorschina Telegram channel writes about.
The incident occurred on board an Airbus A320 flying from Sochi to Moscow on the morning of April 12 shortly before landing. As a result, the TCAS air collision warning system unit burned down, and a burning smell appeared in the cockpit.
“After it was turned off, the smell disappeared, there was no smoke,” the message says. “The crew reported the burned—out TCAS unit and the smell to the dispatcher, who confirmed the lack of information about the flight altitude.”
