Lux Express will suspend bus services from Helsinki to St. Petersburg
The international bus carrier Lux Express will stop operating flights from Finland to Russia from November 18, 2023. This is reported on the official page of the company in VKontakte.
It is clarified that trips on the Helsinki — St. Petersburg route will be suspended indefinitely due to the closure of the Vaalimaa border crossing in a European country.

“For those who bought tickets for later flights, we suggest changing them to other Lux Express destinations (for example, routes connecting St. Petersburg with Tallinn, Riga) or getting a compensation code for a free ride on our buses,” the message says.
Earlier it became known that Finland will close four border crossings on the border with Russia on the night of November 18. Finnish Interior Minister Mari Rantanen, in turn, clarified that the Vaalimaa, Nuiyamaa, Imatra and Niirala checkpoints will be completely closed.
