China has completed the construction of a highway around the resort island of Hainan and launched the first tourist bus in this province along it, the official Telegram channel of the Chinese Embassy in Russia reports. During the trip, guests of the resort can admire the tropical landscapes and picturesque urban landscapes.
The total length of the highway around the island is 988 kilometers, it crosses 12 seaside towns and counties, including Haikou, Wenchang and Qionghai. The highway was laid through the most beautiful places, past coastal hotel complexes and natural attractions. Now there are 2 options for the tourist bus route. The first is a trip from Haikou Bus Station to Wenchang Mulan Bay: a 160–kilometer journey (round trip) runs through the Hainan Provincial Museum, the old Wenchang Puqian Qilo Street, the lighthouse in Mulan Bay. This trip is designed for 6 hours. The second option is a trip from Haikou Bus Station to Wanning Qingwan Mountain (round trip) through the South China Maritime Museum, Qionghai Street and other attractions. The length of this route is almost 320 kilometers, it will take about 7 hours. The tour bus is operated by Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group Co, part of Hainan Tourism.
