A representative of Turkish Airlines explained the delay of the flight from Antalya to Moscow. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

“The flight delay was caused by time restrictions at Moscow airports on Sunday morning,” the statement said. The agency interlocutor noted that the situation will soon return to “normal mode”, passengers will be informed about it.

Shortly before that, some media outlets and netizens reported that more than 150 Russian tourists were stuck at the airport of the Turkish city, as the airline announced the postponement of the flight without explaining the exact reasons.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow airports continued to operate normally after flight restrictions were introduced on Sunday night, September 1. It is known that security restrictions were introduced in Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky.
