The daughter of one of the passengers of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 that disappeared in 2014, Grace Nathan, called on the Malaysian authorities to resume the search. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
Nathan expressed hope that the search operation will continue, although it has been 10 years since the plane en route from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to Beijing (China) disappeared from radar 40 minutes after takeoff. “I think they should continue their search. My biggest hope is that the search will continue,” the woman said.
At the same time, Nathan assumes that the new search for the missing MH370 will require enormous efforts from the Malaysian authorities. But she hopes that specialized private companies will help solve one of the “main aviation mysteries of the world”. In her opinion, such companies have the ability to search for objects at great depth, and they can offer the Malaysian government conditions that their work will be paid only if the wreckage of the airliner is found.
“This is a win-win situation for everyone, because the search company is ready to conduct searches at its own expense. And Malaysia will pay only if the plane is found. There are no downsides to this,” Nathan believes.
