Treatment in the Georgian clinic of a tourist injured by a lightning strike in Batumi will cost at least $ 2,000 (about 180 thousand rubles). The calculations were shared by the Russian himself in an interview with the Telegram channel Shot.
The 32-year-old resident of Samara noted that due to the lack of local medical insurance, doctors and medicines will have to be paid for independently. Doctors cannot yet name the exact amount, because they do not know how long the victim will have to stay in the hospital. However, at the moment we are already talking about $ 2,000.
Now the man is being helped by relatives and friends — several people stayed with him in Georgia, buy him groceries and visit him regularly in the hospital. Unexpected for the Russian was the compensation of part of the costs by the Neuromonk Feofan himself, to whose track he was dancing at the time of the lightning strike. The musician sent 50 thousand rubles to Samaritan for treatment and declined to comment.
Earlier it became known that a Russian tourist injured by a lightning strike is already on the mend. Georgian doctors injected a 32-year-old man with painkillers, he feels cheerful in the hospital and talks on the phone with friends.
