The Ministry of Labor of Russia has published a calendar of working days and holidays for 2025, the official Telegram channel of the department reported. You can start planning vacation trips and holiday weekends.
Most of the days in a row, Russian citizens will rest on New Year’s weekend, which will last from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025 – a total of 11 days. May holidays are in second place in terms of the duration of continuous weekends. Each of the holidays – May 1 and Victory Day – can be celebrated for 4 days: from May 1 to May 4 and from May 8 to May 11. Also, compatriots are waiting for several days of rest in a row from June 12 to 15 – in honor of Russia Day and from November 2 to 4 – in honor of National Unity Day. February 23 and March 8 in 2024 will coincide with Sunday and Saturday, respectively, and there are no additional days off. In honor of the new year 2026, the free days will last from December 31, 2025 to January 8, 2026.
