The largest number of registration of property rights occurred in 2022 and 2023
Since 2019, Muscovites have privatized about 60 thousand apartments. Since the beginning of this year, 3 thousand residents of the capital have signed contracts for privatization, and the maximum number of ownership of premises fell on 2022 and 2023 — 13 thousand each. This is stated in the message received by the editorial office of the capital’s Complex of Economic Policy and property and land relations.
The report clarifies that 256 thousand unprivatized apartments remain in Moscow today. This is about 5% of the total size of the capital’s housing stock. You can apply for privatization in person at the My Documents centers or using the portal mos.ru , the press service reminded.
At the end of February 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the indefinite extension of the program of free privatization of housing for Russians. Before that, the free privatization of housing was extended in the country several times.
