A US resident tasted Russian cola and described its taste with the phrase “why is it so pleasant”. He told this to a Russian travel blogger and traveler, the review was published on the Zen platform.

The author of the publication met Jim from a small town in Missouri. According to him, the foreigner loves everything American, especially food.

“But then we met and… a bottle of “our” Cola,” the blogger writes. “The one that can be found on the shelves in Russia, Eastern Europe and, of course, the countries of the former Soviet Union.”

Jim was sure that his native cola was the standard. At the same time, according to the Russian, domestic drinks are a different experience: the taste of cola is mild, without the bright chemistry that is often inherent in American sodas.

“He took the first sip with caution,” the traveler stressed. — At first, the look was incredulous, like a person who is ready to say: “Well, this is not real!” But the more he drank, the more bewilderment appeared on his face, then surprise, and then admiration.”

Russian cola turned out to be a real discovery for the American. He was expecting something sweet and cloying, but he got a drink with a much more balanced taste. “There is no feeling that I have just drunk a glass of sugar with chemistry,” the foreigner noted.

Earlier, another Russian, who has lived in the United States for almost five years, revealed the reason for his escape from this country. He was scared off by problems with paying taxes and the strictness of American laws.
