Olga — August 2024
I really enjoyed the tour! The guide is a professional in his field, he told a lot of interesting things about Sochi and the surrounding area. We visited the Skypark, where we got a lot of impressions from walking across the bridge. We also stopped at Krasnaya Polyana, rode the ski lift and admired the mountain scenery. The day flew by unnoticed, I recommend it to everyone!
If you go to the Skypark on your own, download an immersive audio tour of Scary beauty to your phone — you will hear the stories of those who fly into the abyss and learn how to cope with your fears, look at the beauty of the mountain landscapes and learn the legends of the Caucasus Mountains.

Skybridge Suspension Bridge
The Skypark suspension bridge spans the Akhshtyr Gorge above the Mzymta River. Its height is more than 200 meters above the ground, and its length is 439 meters. The skybridge in Sochi is the longest suspension pedestrian bridge in Russia.
A walk along the sky bridge takes about 30 minutes each way. The bridge springs a little and swings under your feet — mobility ensures the safety of the structure. But there is nothing to be afraid of — each of the 8 ropes of the suspension bridge can withstand a breaking force of 360 tons, its condition is monitored by several cameras and technicians at once.
Several sections of the pedestrian bridge have observation balconies, two of them with transparent floors and fencing. They are photographed sitting over a precipice on a glass balcony.
From the suspension bridge, you can watch bungee jumping, zip-line flying, and high-altitude swings. On a clear day, the Akhshtyr gorge is clearly visible in both directions: the valley of the Mzymta River, the Caucasian Mountain Range, the Black Sea, Trout farming, and Ship Rocks.
An automatic photo camera is installed at the end of the bridge. Click on the button, smile and buy a magnet with your photo at the souvenir stand.
A 127-meter-long fenced hiking trail through the Colchis Forest begins from the Skybridge. The path leads to the Zipline site.
Zipline (zipline or trolls) is the most fearless attraction of the Skypark. We watched adults and children ride it. You can decide right on the spot and buy a ticket at the ticket office (if there are available slots). The length from one side of the gorge to the other is 700 meters, the speed of flight on a trolley is 60 km/h.
Megatroll is a super—fast troll with a speed of 120 km/h. You can fly to Megatroll alone, together or in threes.
Bungee jumping
Jumping from heights is the main extreme entertainment of the Skypark. In Skypark Sochi, you can jump from three levels: 69, 207 and 210 meters.
Skypark Jumping prices
- Bungy 69: adult — 15,000 rubles, teenagers — 9,000 rubles, children — 6,000 rubles
- Bungy 207: adult — 25,000 RUB
- Bungy 207 Pro (from the roof of the Bungy 207 platform): adult — 15,000 RUB
After the first Bungy 69 or Bungy 207 jump, you become a member of the loyalty program with discounts up to 60%.
Most of them watch others jump, but it’s also a real adrenaline show. Before the jump, instructors on the playground encourage the participants: they turn on energetic music, help them take a step into the abyss, and the audience applauds.
We saw two jumps from Bungy 207: the first time a girl jumped, the second time an older man. It turned out that it was 72-year-old Russian and world bungee jumping record holder Mikhail Panov. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, he performed 80 bungee jumps with the Victory banner.
Bungee jumping, like all attractions in the Skypark, is certified according to Russian and international standards. Safety is the main condition for the sites of AJ Hackett, whose technologies created the Skypark in Sochi.
SochiSwing swing is another extreme attraction of the Skypark. The swing height is 170 meters (3 seconds of free fall). You can ride alone or in tandem, for children and adults. The SochiSwing platform is located at the beginning of the bridge.
You can record your participation in Bungee Jumping, Zipline, Megatroll, and SochiSwing attractions on video. To do this, you need to buy a video package, the use of your equipment in the park is prohibited.
Why go to the Skypark if you are not an extreme
In the early years, Skypark Sochi attracted extreme athletes who came to bungee jump. With the advent of other entertainment options, Skypark has shifted its focus to family leisure and has become a popular attraction.
What to do in a non-extreme Skypark:
- Cross the suspension bridge over the gorge
- Look at the jumping people
- Admire the panoramic views
- Make beautiful photos
The Skypark has a rope park “Mowgli”, a climbing wall, via Ferrata (amateur mountaineering), a panoramic Kauri restaurant with an outdoor terrace. Sochi Skypark hosts events and concerts.
On the way back, we visited the interactive bungee Museum. It tells about the founder of this trend, New Zealander AJ Hackett, and his participation in the creation of a Skypark in Sochi.
I think our trip to Sochi Skypark was worth the time and money we spent. I would like to cross the suspension bridge again, ride a zipline and watch people falling.
