Rescuers evacuated the body of a Russian climber from the slope of Mount Elbrus with a height of 4.7 thousand meters. This is reported in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic.
It is clarified that the rescuers received a request for help from the participants of the ascent on Thursday, June 27. One of the three climbers became ill.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the body was handed over to investigators. The cause and circumstances of the tragedy are being established.
