The Red Wings airline has started selling tickets for direct scheduled flights between St. Petersburg and Batumi. The first flight between the city on the Neva River and the popular Georgian Black Sea resort is scheduled for June 13, 2024. The schedule includes flights until October 26, 2024.
Flights will be operated 2 times a week – on Thursdays and Saturdays. The plane will depart from St. Petersburg at 15:05 local time and land in Batumi at 20:25. The return flight from Georgia is scheduled at 21:25, arrival at St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport is at 01:00 a.m. of the following day. The travel time is about 4 and a half hours. Russian-made SSJ-100 liners will carry passengers on this route. The cost of a one–way flight is about 24,000 rubles.
Recall that the airline also talked about plans to fly to Batumi from Samara and is already flying to this Georgian resort from Moscow and Yekaterinburg. Red Wings also flies from Russia to other cities of Georgia: to Tbilisi from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Samara and Sochi and to Kutaisi from St. Petersburg.
