A United Airlines passenger plane urgently changed course and landed in another place due to smoke. Details are provided by the NTV portal.
An emergency situation occurred on September 23 on a Boeing 767 flight from Newark, USA, to Geneva, Switzerland. During the flight over the Atlantic Ocean, the crew had to turn around due to smoke and odor in the cabin and cockpit, and then land in St. Johns, Canada.
It is noted that the reason for the unplanned landing was a minor malfunction of electrical equipment. There were about 140 people on board the plane, no one was injured.
Another United Airlines airliner made an emergency descent on September 19 to avoid a collision with another aircraft. As a result, passengers were injured.
