Oman’s national airline Oman Air has announced the cancellation of all flights to Moscow. The flight program will be suspended from July 1, 2024, the TurDom newspaper reports.
Passengers who have travel documents from Moscow or to Moscow are offered to exchange these tickets for flights of another airline – Qatar Airways, the national airline of Qatar, and fly with a transfer to Doha or issue a ticket refund.
Recall that this airline sold tickets at very competitive prices and offered flight options from the Russian capital to countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka with a connection in the main city of Oman – Muscat. In summer, demand for these destinations is noticeably decreasing, which is probably why the airline made this decision. With the approach of the high season – at the end of autumn, the number of applicants should increase. The TurDom publication, with reference to the airline, indicates that the flight program is expected to resume on October 29, 2024.
