Nordwind Airlines will operate direct scheduled flights between the capitals of two Russian regions – between Makhachkala and Syktyvkar. The first flight from the main city of Dagestan to the main city of the Komi Republic will take place on April 27, 2024. Thanks to the appearance of this new route, vacationers from the northern territory will be able to go on vacation to the warm coast of the Caspian Sea.
Flights will be operated 2 times a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The plane will depart from Makhachkala Airport at 12:00 p.m. local time and land at Syktyvkar Airport at 15:35. The liner will depart from the Komi Republic at 16:35 and arrive in Dagestan at 20:05. The travel time between these cities is about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Tickets for these flights between Makhachkala and Syktyvkar can be purchased on the airline’s official website and from agents. The cost of a one-way flight at the most budget-friendly “baggage-free” fare is about 7000 rubles, you will have to pay about 9,000 rubles for a flight with luggage.
