The authorities of the Moscow region are ready to teach professions in demand in the housing and communal services sector for free. Who can you become?
Today, as Mir Novosti has already written, Russian enterprises are experiencing an acute shortage of personnel over the past 25 years. The lion’s share of potential employees was simply “eaten up” by the demographic pit of the 1990s, the elderly are retiring, and there are few young people, which forces companies to literally fight for personnel. The real sector of the economy is the most problematic in this regard, and professions that were not considered prestigious until recently are most in demand here. But enterprises are ready to independently grow specialists for their tasks. For many, this is the only opportunity to get an employee who will remain in the company in the future.
One of the innovators here was the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Moscow Region. After the January heating problems, he was tasked with improving the quality of public services in the region. But since this requires people with professional competencies, everyone is invited to take training in sought-after specialties.
Any resident of the Moscow region who has graduated from school can enroll and take advanced training and professional retraining courses free of charge on the basis of the UKK Housing and Communal Services training complex, which, as the name implies, specializes in conducting educational programs in the housing and communal services sector. Although the UKK trains specialists in several dozen professions, now you can study or upgrade your skills for free in such professions as a plumber, an emergency repair mechanic and a pumping plant machinist. Depending on the level of training students have, the training will take from 72 to 188 academic hours. So, for example, you can learn from scratch to become a locksmith of emergency technical works in 112 hours, and those who are familiar with the profession firsthand can undergo retraining in 80 training hours. If you believe the vacancies posted on job search Internet resources, then the companies are ready to pay from 35 to 90 thousand rubles to locksmiths of emergency technical works, from 17 to 75 thousand rubles to plumbers, and from 21 to 60 thousand rubles to pumping plant machinists.
