Indonesia AirAsia, the Indonesian division of the Malaysian budget airline AirAsia, has decided to resume direct scheduled flights between the islands of Phuket and Bali, the industry publication Vestnik ATOR writes. The first flight of this season between the most popular resorts of Thailand and Indonesia will take place on August 10, 2024. This will allow travelers who spend time on one of the exotic islands to plan a vacation at two resorts at once and compare two Southeast Asian countries located in the same region, but so unlike each other.
At first, flights will be operated 3 times a week, but in the future – with the onset of the “high” season – from January to March 2025, the airline promises to make flights daily. On this line, passengers will be transported by A320 aircraft, designed for 180 passenger seats.
The travel time between the islands is 4 hours. Tickets for these flights are already on sale on the airline’s official website, where a card issued by a foreign bank will be required for payment, and from agents – in this case, you can find options that allow you to pay with a plastic card of a Russian bank. The cost of a one-way flight starts from about 9,000 rubles.
