In Moscow, the co-owner of Seven Suns Development Ryzhkov was arrested

The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow sent Alexey Ryzhkov, co-owner of the companies belonging to the St. Petersburg holding Seven Suns Development, to jail. On April 10, Fontanka was informed about this by the press service of the Moscow City Court.

“On April 9, the Tushinsky District Court decided to satisfy the investigator’s petition. To choose a preventive measure against Alexey Petrovich Ryzhkov in the form of detention for 1 month and 19 days until May 28, 2024,” the press service said.

The businessman’s defense was denied a petition for the election of a preventive measure unrelated to detention.

Earlier, the court chose a preventive measure for Ryzhkov in the form of a ban on certain actions. However, the prosecutor appealed to the Moscow City Court, which decided to return the case for a new hearing in a different composition of the court.

Ryzhkov is a defendant in a criminal case initiated under part 2 of Article 200.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attracting citizens’ funds in violation of the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on participation in the shared construction of apartment buildings, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, or on an especially large scale”).

The criminal case is connected with the construction of the residential complex “Light World “Fairy Forest” in Moscow. The developer is LLC “SZ “MSK Losinoostrovskaya”. At the end of January 2024, the Investigative Committee reported in its telegram channel that “citizens expect to receive apartments from 2021, but the deadlines for the completion of facilities are regularly postponed, construction work is not carried out.” The company “SZ “MSK Losinoostrovskaya” is owned by Seven Suns Development MSK Yugo-Zapad LLC. In turn, this legal entity, according to SPARK, is owned by Ryzhkov (99.99%) and SSD MSC Investments (0.01%). In St. Petersburg, the developer has implemented such projects as the residential complex “Svetly Mir “I am a romantic …”, “Svetly Mir “Inside …” and “Svetly Mir “Oh, Youth …”.
