An estate near the English city of Bath in Somerset County, once owned by British actress Jane Seymour, is for sale. The value of the lot is £12.5 million, according to Mansion Global. British rock bands The Cure, Radiohead and New Order recorded their albums in this mansion, the note clarifies.
The estate is more than 400 years old, it was built in 1591. Jane Seymour, along with her husband, film director Jason Keach, acquired it in the first half of the 1980s, after which she rented it out for a recording studio and a film set, the report says.

The house has 11 bedrooms, and several living rooms have antique fireplaces. The mansion also has a library, a ballroom and a recording studio. All the walls in the house are paneled.

The mansion is famous for the fact that it was here in 1994 and 1995 that The Cure recorded their album Wild Mood Swings. In 1996 and 1997, the British rock band Radiohead recorded most of their album OK Computer here. The mansion also featured the British band New Order, who recorded part of their 2005 album Waiting for the Sirens’ Call here.
Mansion Global clarifies that Seymour sold the estate in 2007.
