Since August 1, 2024, Aeroexpress has been completing work on the line between Kievsky Railway Station and Vnukovo Airport, a message about this appeared on the official website of the operator. However, nothing is likely to change for passengers.
According to the information provided by Aeroexpress, the railway connection on this route will still be maintained: this direction will be serviced by the Central Suburban Passenger Company. Aeroexpress plans to focus on the development of routes to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports, as well as on the development of express bus service to airports.
Passengers who have purchased Aeroexpress tickets in advance for a trip to/from Vnukovo Airport from August 1 will be able to hand over their tickets. To do this, fill out the feedback form on the company’s website.
It should be recalled that Aeroexpress launched passenger transportation between Kievsky Railway Station and Vnukovo in 2008. Over the 16 years of operation of the route, Aeroexpress trains have transported more than 30 million passengers. Today, trains on this line run every hour, and the travel time along the entire route is 33 minutes. On the way, the train makes a stop at Aminevskaya station, where you can transfer to the Bolshaya Koltsevaya metro Line.
At the moment, Vnukovo Airport can also be reached by metro – this is the final station on the Solntsevskaya branch.
