In Hungary, thanks to the National Card program, a residence permit is becoming more accessible to citizens of Russia and Belarus. The program is designed for those who are going to officially work in the country or conduct business in Hungary.

This type of residence permit is issued for 2 years to the main applicant and family members with the right to extend for another 3 years if the person has been in Hungary for at least 90 days for six months.

Who can get a residence permit?

  • Important: according to the law, the application must be considered in 21 days, i.e. very quickly.

    In case of refusal, you can file an appeal within 8 days.
