“Krasnodar Territory is definitely in the first place, Moscow and St. Petersburg, who are fighting for the second place. Crimea is in fourth place, the Caucasus Mineral Waters region is in fifth place, medical tourism is very popular there. Now, in principle, there is a growing demand for health improvement in all age groups,” he told NSN.
Earlier, the news reported a 59% increase in demand for trips across Russia during the velvet season.
The Urals has become the fastest growing macroregion for travel: the growth in demand for trips to the UFA region is 79% year-on-year, that is, almost 2 times. The Southern (by 67%) and Central (by 58%) federal districts also showed significant growth.
