Ynet: In Crete, 12 people mistook an Israeli tourist for a Jew and beat him up

An Arab tourist from Israel has been brutally attacked on the Greek island of Crete. This was reported by the Ynet portal.
On July 17, 24-year-old Fahad Kubati from Nazareth was vacationing in the coastal town of Malia in a European resort. The attackers heard him turn on Hebrew music in the car and mistook him for a Jew.

12 men attacked a young man and mercilessly beat him until he showed them a cross and told them that he professed Christianity. After that, Kubati was hospitalized with jaw and head injuries.
It is clarified that the traveler was recently demobilized from the Israel Defense Forces. “It was not just an attack, but an attempted murder,” Jacqueline Kubati, the victim’s mother, was outraged.
Earlier in Tenerife, a tourist beat a pickpocket with a stick who tried to steal his wallet. The fight, which unfolded in front of the campers, was caught on video.
