The Times of India: an airplane passenger was arrested in Delhi for smuggling gold

A passenger on an Air India plane was caught smuggling gold because of one action on board during a five-hour flight. This is reported by The Times of India.
According to the newspaper, the incident occurred on a flight from Jeddah to Delhi, India. During the flight, the passenger refused food, snacks and drinks several times, which seemed strange to the flight attendants. They informed the pilot about this, and he passed the information to the airport security service.
After arrival, law enforcement officers detained the man during the passage of the green corridor and interrogated him. During the conversation, the passenger admitted that gold was hidden in capsules in his rectum. That’s why he refused food and water on the plane. As a result, the police arrested the smuggler, and a thousand grams of gold were seized from him.
Earlier at Miami Airport, another passenger tried to board a plane with snakes in his pants pocket. The man hid two small reptiles in a sunglasses case.
