A passenger of the American airline United Airlines found a larva in the on-board food. He shared his story on the Reddit forum.
The incident occurred on a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles. A user with the nickname @rerreadit wrote that he found a slimy larva after he started eating pasta.

“I’ve never liked eating on a plane, but after that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat anything but pretzels again. Does anyone else feel this way? Are there any other food problems on United flights? Ugh,” the traveler complained.
The author of the publication added that as compensation, the carrier credited him 7.5 thousand miles and transferred another 150 dollars (about 13.4 thousand rubles). According to the Paddle Your Own Kanoo portal, United Airlines is investigating the incident.
