In Thailand, a tourist caused an accident in a stolen car after escaping from the hospital. The details were shared by The Phuket News portal.
According to the source, the foreigner first attacked a worker from Myanmar who lived next door, for which he was arrested and sent to a clinic in Phuket. On July 6, a man escaped from there and stole the van of a local resident who had gone out to buy fruit.

The attacker did not manage to get far away — soon he got into an accident, crashing into another van in the city of Patong. As a result of the head-on collision, the tourist was trapped in the car, rescuers had to pull him out from under the wreckage with the help of equipment.
After that, the culprit of the accident was hospitalized. The driver of the second car suffered a leg injury.
Earlier in Phuket, a Russian tourist was hit by a speedboat. She was swimming outside the bathing area, and the helmsman of the vessel did not notice her.
