Russian traveler Marina Ershova visited Warariki beach in New Zealand and told how she was impressed by this place. She shared her opinion on her personal blog on the Zen platform.
According to the author, she really likes the Black Sea coast in southern Russia, but the New Zealand nature delighted her even more. “There are such beaches here — Sochi is quietly resting on the sidelines,” she described her observations in these words.
The Russian woman was surprised by gray sand dunes, majestic rocks with holes in the shape of arches and local fauna. The tourist saw wild seals and many birds on the beach, including albatrosses, petrels and penguins.

“This is a place where time slows down, and nature calls us to itself, teaches us to appreciate its beauty and greatness,” the Russian concluded.
However, not all New Zealand beaches amaze travelers with their beauty. The same travel blogger visited the city of Hokitika and complained that the coast there was “the ugliest” in her life.
