Russian travel blogger Alexey Kutovoy visited India and revealed the crazy truth about the country. He shared his observations on his personal blog on the Zen platform.

According to the author of the publication, behind the facade of exoticism in India there are features that can shock and even scare. For example, it is the norm for Hindus to urinate on the street in front of people.

“Men (and sometimes women) can relieve themselves right on the street without looking up from talking on the phone or having a friendly conversation. This is especially true in large cities, where public toilets are often absent or in extremely poor condition,” he explained.

In addition, local residents use cow urine for medical purposes. So, the drink “Gomutra” from cow urine is popular — it supposedly helps even against cancer. At the same time, Hindus have a special attitude not only to cows, but also to monkeys. “Monkeys in India are full—fledged residents of the city, and they do not hesitate to show their character. In places like Varanasi or Jaipur, monkeys take over the roofs of houses, shops and even temples,” the blogger noted.

The author also complained about travel fraud in the country. Here, every passerby can turn out to be a fraud, he concluded.

Earlier, the same blogger rode a train in Thailand and compared it to Russian old commuter trains. The author of the publication bought the cheapest ticket to a third—class carriage – it is in them that ordinary Thais travel. The ticket cost him 244 baht (about 590 rubles).
